Evolution Design introduces 6280.CH, a coworking hub in Hochdorf, Switzerland, blending nature-inspired interiors with industrial heritage to create a modern workspace.
FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
Evolution Design, a Swiss architecture and design studio, proudly presents 6280.CH, a new coworking hub nestled in the scenic village of Hochdorf, Switzerland. The hub, housed in a former factory, draws inspiration from the surrounding natural beauty and the region's rich furniture-making heritage to offer a unique and distinctly local coworking experience.
The design concept reflects the essence of Swiss mountain pastures, lakeside landscapes, wooden farm buildings, endangered plants, and traditional furniture-making traditions. The interiors feature custom-made furniture, including metalwork, acoustic panels, and lampshades, all crafted by the client, a renowned furniture manufacturer. Notably, the space incorporates upcycled elements, such as a converted shipping container used as a meeting pod, adding an innovative touch to the design.
Spanning 1000 square meters, 6280.CH provides a contemporary and inspiring environment for modern workers, offering flexible workspaces, private offices, conference rooms, and communal areas, including a shared kitchen. The design seamlessly integrates the buildings' original industrial elements, such as high ceilings and tall windows, with a color scheme inspired by the local surroundings, creating a comfortable and inspiring working space.
Evolution Design's 6280.CH project commenced in January 2019 and was completed in June 2019. The hub caters to the evolving needs of local freelancers and small businesses, offering a workspace that pays homage to the region's industrial past while embracing the demands of 21st-century working life.
