Urban Philosophy: Visual Poster Design

Sinong Ding presents "Urban Philosophy," a thought-provoking visual poster design project inspired by the symbiotic relationship between the city, nature, and people. Through a combination of photography, graphics, and text, this project aims to deepen the audience's contemplation of the dialectical connection between urban environments and the natural world. The project was realized through print design, digital photography, and digital imaging, resulting in a series of dynamic posters and video works.

The strength of "Urban Philosophy" lies in its ability to capture everyday moments often overlooked, using photographic images as a backdrop to showcase the interactions between people, nature, and the city. By integrating traditional graphic design with digital techniques, the project creates an innovative art form with social significance, resonating with viewers and prompting introspection.

From July 2022 to February 2023 in China, Sinong Ding, along with designers Wei Liu and Yuhan Sui, undertook the challenge of combining text, graphics, and images to create a visually compelling narrative. The project's research delved into the innovative artistic possibilities of combining traditional graphic visual design practices with digital images, resulting in a comprehensive set of works encompassing poster design, element design, and digital image display.
