Measuring at 155mm * 183mm * 76mm, Smashy is made using plastic and filled with an assortment of snacks, including milk chocolate, biscuits, gummies, and hard candies. The design is inspired by the idea that snacking is not just about satisfying hunger but also about providing emotional comfort and enjoyment. Mutian Yu, an industrial designer currently completing his M.F.A project at the Savannah College of Art and Design, has been recognized with several prestigious design awards, including the reddot design award, iF design award, and K-Design award. With a passion for creating intuitive products that focus on user behaviors, Mutian Yu's innovative approach to design has led to the development of Smashy, a product that aims to bring joy and excitement to snacking.
