Introducing Morton, a revolutionary salt shaker packaging design by Xunxing liang, specifically crafted to dispense 1-5 g of salt accurately, promoting healthier cooking habits and ease of use.
FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
Xunxing liang introduces Morton, a unique salt shaker packaging design that revolutionizes the way salt is dispensed in the kitchen. Unlike traditional salt shakers, Morton is designed to accurately dispense 1-5 g of salt, addressing the need for precise salt measurement in cooking. Inspired by WHO recommendations and the classic logo of Morton Salt, this innovative packaging design promotes healthier cooking habits and ease of use.
This project is a salt shaker packaging design specific for Morton. What makes it differentiated from similar salt shaker packages available in the market is uncluttered and unaffected form. The mating of the graduated groove and the snap-fit mechanism allows the user to accurately dispense 1-5 g salt. It is easy to operate with just one hand. This metering salt shaker supports refilling and reuse. The transparent label on the bottom helps the user see how much salt is left.
The bottle body is blow-molded, while the two constructions of the bottle mouth are inject-molded. The label features a shrink sleeve, and the design specifications are 43mmx40mmx132mm. The program kicked off in New York in September 2023 and wrapped up in New York in December 2023.
Xunxing liang's Morton design was awarded the Iron A' Design Award in 2024, recognizing its well-designed, practical, and innovative features that meet professional and industrial requirements. This innovative packaging design integrates industry best practices and competent technical characteristics, contributing to a better world.
