Min Huei Lu's "Finding Your Focus" is a visual concept designed for the 2017 International Design Conference - TYPO Focus. Lu's work demonstrates a conceptual and typographical system, utilizing illustration, color, typography, layout, and circular design elements to convey the idea of Focus.
Shifts in design, society, and culture are constant, and designers are forced to make tough decisions. Lu's design addresses the need for designers to be competent in web, print, mobile, type design, and UX, offering a unique perspective on the evolving role of designers in a rapidly changing landscape.
Utilizing Adobe Illustrator and Adobe InDesign, Lu created various deliverables, including a promotional campaign, website, design app, publication, and TYPO design conference materials. The project, which started in March 2017 and finished in April 2017 in San Francisco, was a response to the need for designers to adapt to the evolving demands of the industry.
Min Huei Lu, a multidisciplinary designer with a deep background in graphic design, aims to build delightful user-centric experiences and meaningful identities. Their work has been recognized with the Silver A' Design Award in 2021, showcasing outstanding expertise and innovation in the field of visual communication design.
