FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
Hero, developed by Akhil Patel and his team at MagicX Inc., has been awarded the Bronze A' Design Award 2025 in the Mobile Technologies, Applications and Software Design category. Launched in August 2024 after over a year of development and extensive user research, Hero introduces a new paradigm in personal productivity by consolidating calendars, reminders, notes, groceries, weather, and AI-powered features into a single, intuitive platform for iOS users.
Unlike traditional productivity tools that often become cluttered and fragmented, Hero's design philosophy centers on simplicity and seamless integration. The app's proprietary voice user experience enables users to complete complex, multi-step tasks-such as scheduling events or managing shared reminders-up to ten times faster than conventional methods. Hero's collaborative features allow users to share and comment on tasks with family and friends, streamlining coordination and keeping context clear, all within a unified interface.
Hero's development was informed by rigorous beta testing with over 150 users and direct feedback from more than 100 one-on-one sessions. The team overcame significant challenges, including maintaining an easy-to-use interface as features expanded and ensuring robust voice-powered functionality. Built using Figma, Rive, SwiftUI, and leveraging advanced AI technologies from OpenAI and Gemini, Hero supports all iOS devices from iPhone SE to iPhone 16 Pro Max. This recognition from the A' Design Awards highlights Hero's impact on improving daily life, setting a new standard for AI-driven productivity apps.
