TTMM, designed by Albert Salamon, introduces a groundbreaking suite of 40 clock face apps for Fitbit Versa and Versa Lite smartwatches, blending futuristic aesthetics with intuitive functionality. Drawing inspiration from iconic sci-fi movies like "2001: Space Odyssey" and "Blade Runner," as well as the electronic music of Kraftwerk, TTMM reimagines the smartwatch as a time machine, offering users a fresh, abstract, and minimal approach to timekeeping.
Each clock face in the TTMM collection features customizable color presets and complications, easily adjusted through an innovative tap-to-change on-screen interface. Users can personalize their smartwatch experience by quickly switching between designs, adapting to their mood or style. Some models are equipped with additional features such as stopwatch, timer, alarm, and torch, while the unique Onettmm clock face offers 30 different designs in one, maximizing versatility and creativity.
The TTMM collection was meticulously crafted using Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop, with programming executed via Fitbit SDK in Fitbit Studio. The project, which spanned from December 2017 to March 2019 and involved collaboration between Poland and France, overcame challenges such as optimizing font legibility on small screens and developing a user-friendly interface for seamless customization. TTMM stands out in the market by offering original, non-imitative designs that balance functional clarity with artistic innovation, setting a new standard for smartwatch personalization.
Available through the Ttmm app for Android and iOS, users can browse, purchase, and upload their favorite clock faces, making the process of customizing and managing their smartwatch display fast and enjoyable. TTMM's award-winning design has been recognized with the Bronze A' Design Award, highlighting its contribution to enhancing user experience and advancing the art of digital timekeeping.
