FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

TTMM for Pebble: A Collection of 130 Minimal, Customizable Watchfaces for Smartwatches

TTMM for Pebble, created by acclaimed designer Albert Salamon, introduces a groundbreaking collection of 130 unique watchfaces exclusively for the Original Pebble and Pebble 2 smartwatches. Drawing inspiration from iconic sci-fi films such as "2001: A Space Odyssey" and "Star Wars," as well as innovative design portals like Tokyo Flash Japan, TTMM brings a futuristic, minimalist aesthetic to wearable technology. The collection stands out for its blend of abstract infographics and digital time displays, perfectly suited for the modern, tech-savvy user.

Each TTMM watchface offers more than just the time; users can customize their display to show additional information such as the date, weekday, steps, activity time, distance, temperature, and battery or Bluetooth status. The TTMM app, available for both Android and iOS, allows users to browse, purchase, and upload their preferred watchfaces directly to their Pebble device. With a simple shake of the wrist, extra information is revealed, enhancing both functionality and user engagement. The designs are optimized for Pebble's low-resolution e-paper screens, ensuring clarity and readability in various lighting conditions while preserving battery life.

The development of TTMM for Pebble was a collaborative international effort, with programming contributions from France and the USA, and design work based in Warsaw, Poland. The project responded to a lack of originality in the smartwatch market, where most watchfaces imitated traditional mechanical clocks. By leveraging the unique capabilities of e-paper technology, Salamon and his team pushed the boundaries of digital watchface design, resulting in a collection that has earned the prestigious Silver A' Design Award for Interface, Interaction, and User Experience Design in 2017. TTMM for Pebble not only elevates the visual language of smartwatches but also sets a new standard for user customization and interaction.
