FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

Print Ad Campaign "Not Always Fun" by Yana Okoliyska

Yana Okoliyska's "Not Always Fun" print ad campaign aims to raise awareness about Harlequin syndrome, shedding light on the disparity between the comical representation of the harlequin character and the reality of living with the syndrome. The meticulously crafted illustrations are based on the juxtaposition of different representations of harlequin, emphasizing the need for greater understanding and awareness of the condition.

The ad is used in print and digital media, ranging from 70 x 100 cm posters to A4 print pages and various sizes of banners. The campaign was awarded Silver in the A' Social Design Award in 2023, recognizing its outstanding expertise, innovation, and the remarkable level of excellence it brings to the forefront.

Yana Okoliyska, a creative director, and her team at SQUARED agency developed this thought-provoking campaign to address the rare Harlequin syndrome, which affects the autonomic nervous system and is associated with the absence of sweating and flushing of skin on one side of the face. The campaign's unique approach and strong visual communication have garnered international acclaim and multiple awards, showcasing Okoliyska's extensive experience in design and visual communication for advertising.
