Meer instant coffee packaging sets itself apart with a fresh take on beverage branding. Unlike traditional designs, Meer captures the essence of a delicious cup of coffee through its unique texture details, enticing coffee lovers with its indulgent and refreshing appeal.
The design process involved a combination of photo-shooting, photo-manipulation, and illustration to create the ultimate branding element that stands out on shelves. The packaging is designed for 15 SKUs in 5 flavors, catering to a diverse market.
Meer's unconventional font size and layout play a significant role in attracting consumers to the product, stimulating and engaging all the senses of coffee lovers. The design simply touches the audience's recognition sense, prompting impulse buying with its tempting appeal.
The project, which started in Tehran in November 2020 and concluded in May the following year, was the result of in-depth market and competition analysis. The study revealed that cups and coffee beans are the most used elements in packaging, inspiring the designer to take a new approach that would stand out in the market.
Meer's packaging design not only showcases the art of design but also demonstrates an understanding of customers' preferences, aiming to make a serious change on the beverage shelves of stores. The design was awarded Bronze in A' Packaging Design Award 2023, recognizing its outstanding and creatively ingenious approach that contributes to quality of life improvements.
