The design aims to raise awareness of the cultural richness and healing properties of indigenous plants.
Heti, meaning "Home" in the Dakota language, is designed to evoke the essence of home with its natural infused flavors. The beverages are not only a celebration of native plants but also a social impact brand, with a percentage of revenues dedicated to driving wealth, security, and health into tribal communities.
Realized digitally using the design thinking method of Diverge and Converge, Heti's packaging features vector-based assets with Adobe Creative Suite and is produced using a 4-color printing technique. The label dimensions for the 12 oz cans are 151 x 195 mm.
Cansu Dagbagli Ferreira's design ethos beautifully balances modernity with tradition, as symmetrical monochrome illustrations grace the packaging, embodying the essence and spirit of indigenous cultures.
