Cansu Dagbagli Ferreira has been recognized with the prestigious Bronze A' Design Award in Interface, Interaction and User Experience Design for her comprehensive redesign of Hockinghills.com. Spanning a year from June 2023 to June 2024, the project reimagined the digital experience for travelers seeking accommodations and outdoor activities in Hocking Hills State Park. The new platform prioritizes clarity, ease of use, and visual harmony, allowing the region's natural beauty to shine through a minimalist and modern interface.

The redesign introduced a full brand refresh, advanced UX and UI enhancements, and the development of over 100 custom icons. These elements work together to create a seamless and intuitive journey for users, from initial research to booking. The structured layout, clean typography, and refined icon set ensure effortless navigation, while maintaining a strong connection to the local community and environment. Responsive design across desktop and mobile devices guarantees accessibility for all visitors, whether planning at home or on the go.

Ferreira's approach was grounded in design thinking, leveraging real user data to identify pain points and opportunities for improvement. Despite evolving project requirements, she maintained consistency through a robust design system, overcoming challenges to deliver a cohesive and engaging digital platform.
